Life is Short, Eat Dessert First

This week was my turn for Girl’s Night. I figured I would change it up a bit and have a dessert night! I thought this would a fun, different way to enjoy each other’s company. Not to mention I have a ridiculous attraction to sweets. So here was the line up.

Flour less Chocolate Cake
I made this cake once before for Dianna’s birthday celebration. It’s very fudgey and very decadent. I had fresh raspberries and homemade whipped cream to top it off.

Chocolate, Peanut Butter, and Banana Pizza
This was recreated from the pizza I had in New York City at Max Brenner’s. I had told the girls about this delectable treat when filling them in on our adventure. This was one dessert that was requested by them to be had at Dessert Girl’s Night.
Ingredients
Milk Chocolate Chips
2 bananas, thinly sliced
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter, melted slightly for easy spreading
Pizza dough
Directions
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Roll out the pizza dough and place on a greased cookie sheet or pizza stone. Prick the top of the dough with a fork.
Bake in the oven for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Load up the dough with slices of bananas and chocolate chips. Drizzle over the peanut butter…as much or as little as you like!
Bake in the oven for about 5 minutes.

Raspberry Lemon Pudding Cakes
To round out the trio of desserts I wanted something a little more light and something that incorporated fruit. The other two desserts were very dense and chocolatey, so when I found this recipe on Pinterest, I thought it would be the perfect accompaniment. It’s a perfect dessert for the summer time too!

Miss Dianna was in charge of drinks for the evening. She decided to stick with theme by creating a dessert drink. You put a scoop of sherbet into a large wine glass and topped it off with champagne. Delicious!
